Irish stars step out in style at the Oscars for the 94th Academy Awards last night

Last night saw A-listers take to the red carpet for the 94th Academy Awards in Hollywood. This year Ireland was well represented at the awards in part due to Kenneth Branagh’s new film, Belfast which won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay on the night.

Taking to the red carpet was Jamie Dornan and his wife, Amelia Warner who looked stunning in a glittering gold gown as she attended the ceremony. Fellow co-stars from ‘Belfast’ included Caitríona Balfe, Kenneth Branagh and of course 11-year-old Jude Hill who looked delighted to be attending the prestigious awards.

Kerry actress, Jessie Buckley also took to the red carpet as she was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her part as Leda in The Lost Daughter.
