Irish stars react to the Bruce Jenner transformation that has stunned the world

The reality tv star has broken the internet with the release of Vanity Fair's image of 'Caitlyn'

    We think Caitlyn looks fabulous.

 

Yesterday saw the much-awaited introduction of Bruce Jenner’s post sex change operation transformation ‘Caitlyn’ to the world.

As expected, the reveal resulted in a media explosion and an instant influx of celebrity responses on all social media platforms including hugely positive statements from Barack Obama, Lena Dunham, Ellen DeGeneres and more extending their congratulations to the former decathlon athlete.

Joining them are some of our favourite Irish celebrities who, in the hours passed since Caitlyn posted her Vanity Fair cover online, have come together to offer their support for a greater need in our society for tolerance and acceptance. By doing so, they give thanks to Caitlyn Jenner and her bravery and honestly on her long journey.

The model and food blogger took to Instagam to show her support, saying: “Respect. What an amazing and brave transformation by #BruceJenner into #Caitlyn #CallMeCaitlyn #BeTrueToYourself

Pippa O’Connor:

Pippa was glad to voice her approval and praise by retweeting the gorgeous Vanity Fair cover and Caitlyn Jenner’s first verified tweet.

The presenter spoke highly of the reality star: “All I can say is WOW & bravo to Caitlyn Jnner on her big reveal. What she’s doing, given the spotlight, takes balls.”

Vogue Williams:

Irish model and personality shared the cover on her Instagram page with the caption: “Beautiful #gocaitlyn” and then shared the links on her Twitter account.
