Irish stars get dressed up in lockdown to cheer themselves up

It seems it’s not only us that are bored of wearing nothing but loungewear and tracksuits in lockdown.

Some of our favourite stars are also feeling fed up of pyjamas and leggings, so have started throwing on their gladrags to cheer themselves up.

Popping on your favourite dress or outfit is great way to cheer yourself up and fake a little bit of normality in our current situation.

Vogue Williams was delighted with herself for wearing something other than gym gear, as she popped on a gorgeous white summer dress.

She shared with her followers how much better she felt in it too; “Weirdly it makes a big difference to my mood when I put on a bit of tan some make up and a nice dress.”

However she did go on to say that she probably won’t be doing it everyday; “I will probably do none of the above tomorrow because not everyday is make an effort day!”

Amy Huberman has already documented herself dressed up and ready for a ‘date night’ with hubby Brian O’Driscoll in lockdown.
Amy was trying on a dress from a new Irish brand, Cobbler’s Lane and said hilariously posted what she was doing around the house whilst wearing it;
I have never looked so glam wiping dog wee off the floor or picking tissue fluff off the flipping dark wash and scraping out the sink and I’m worn out with the glamour of it all now to be honest.”
@blathnaidt
Bláthnaid Treacy got dressed up for a stroll in the park, choosing to wearing a Rixo dress she had been saving for a special occasion;
“one thing this pandemic has taught me is that there is no time like the present and if dressing up and putting on some lipstick lifts your spirits, than just go for it, even if you’re just going for a stroll in the park.”
