Irish Rugby stars Rob and Dave Kearney, Jamie Heaslip and Sean O’Brian have joined forces on a new business.

The sporting stars already own a pub together, Bridge 1859, which they opened two years ago in Dublin’s Ballsbridge, but now they’ve set their sights on a city centre location for a brand new pub.

Their newest venture will be called Lemon and Duke, and according to Jamie it will open its doors next month.

Taking to Twitter, the Kildare native wrote, “So the @Bridge1859 team are heading into town! @LemonAndDuke is opening in August. #LemonAndDuke #LD #L&D.”

Rob also took to social media to share the exciting plans. “The @Bridge1859 boys are headed for the city centre now too- welcome on board @LemonAndDuke,” he wrote.

Jamie already has an established business, Bear restaurant on South William Street, while Rob has just recently collaborated on a beauty salon business called Oslo, with Amy Huberman.

We can’t wait to check out the new bar!
