Ireland rugby hero CJ Stander has announced he and wife Jean Marie are expecting their first child.
The gorgeous couple, who married back in 2013 – moved to Limerick from their native South Africa as CJ signed with Munster Rugby, and are now sharing the exciting news that they are set to expand their family.
Taking to Instagram, the happy couple posted a sweet snap with their two dogs.
“On this Valentine’s day, there is no better time to say,
Our hearts have been stirred. .
For this child, we‘ve prayed & our prayers have been heard. .
“With gratitude & excitement, we can say there is a Stander baby on the way!”
The baby is due this summer, and fans – as well as teammates- of the rugby player were quick to wish the pair congratulations!
“Congrats lads, welcome to the party,” said fellow Ireland player Sean Cronin, while CJ’s former Munster teammate Simon Zebo also wished the pair well.
