Awards season is officially upon us, and after two years of virtual ceremonies we are so happy to see the return of the red carpet. Last week we had the Oscars, where we saw many Irish celebrities in attendance including Jessie Buckley, Kenneth Branagh and Jamie Dornan.
It’s looking like we are also set to be well represented at this year’s BAFTA’s too as the nominations for 2022 have just been announced. The nominees include nods to Aisling Bea, Niamh Algar, Denise Gough and Sharon Horgan this year, and you can read the full list of incredible nominees below.
This year’s ceremony is set to take place on April 24th in London’s Royal Festival Hall and will be hosted by Richard Ayoade.
