Everyone in the nation sat up on Friday night when Casa Amor was announced.
The rumours that Charleen Murphy would join the cast of Love Island. Finally, her entrance was confirmed to the delight of all of Ireland.
And it looks like she could turn fellow Irish star, Sean Fitzgerald’s head as Casa Amor kicked off on Sunday night.
The OG boys and girls were separated with a new group of bombshells making their way into the show to try to get their way into the main show.
The girls seem pretty open to getting to know the Casa Boys, although Lola confesses that she’s going to get “Fitz-drawals” from Sean. They have been coupled up from the first day; however, it was recently revealed that she is one of the most unpopular Islanders on the show.
Meanwhile, Sean and Charleen immediately hit it off.
“Is it nice to see a familiar face?” she asks him, which raises eyebrows amongst the boys.
Aidan remarks: “Fitzy has crumbled already!”
Sean responds: “I’m very happy with Lola but I want a test.”
Charleen was asked who had caught her eye in the villa and she responded: “There’s four – I’m being greedy! Kavan (Murphy), Aidan (Murphy – Kavan’s brother), Lorenzo (Alessi), and Seán (Fitzgerald), I’d say.
“They have bits of my type in each of them, but I think I’d need to see that and to actually chat to them properly. Kavan, I would say out of all of them, is my actual type on paper. I’m excited to get to know all of them.”
Speaking about how she hopes to get on in the show, she says: “Be myself. I’m naturally a flirty person. I’ve got a good heart and good energy. I think if you go in with too much of a strategy, it’s like you’re forcing it and not being yourself.
“I’m going to be myself and go with what my heart says and follow my gut. I’ll talk to everyone, give everyone a chance, even people I might not necessarily have my eye on, because people could surprise you, so you never know! I’ll be bringing the Irish charm.”
She concluded: “The last year being single, I don’t really put myself out there enough, I’d say. But I’m ready now to find someone. I’m not getting any younger!”
During a game of Two Truths and a Lie, Charleen kissed Kavan and Lorenzo. So it looks like it’s not just Sean who has caught her attention.
We can’t wait to see how Charleen gets on in Love Island!
