
Irish musician Glen Hansard has sadly passed away at the age of 56.
The man behind Once died in a motorcyle crash in Lucan, Dublin in the early hours of the morning.
Reports say it was a one-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were alerted to a collision on the R109 Lower Road, between Tinkers Hill and Rugged Lane, at 4.30am on Wednesday morning.

Glen was well known in the Irish busking scene. He led the famous annual Christmas Eve charity busk in Dublin to raise money for the Dublin Simon Community.
He famously appeared in The Commitments before going on to create the beloved movie musical, Once.
He won an Oscar for Best Original Song for Falling Slowly.
Glen married Finnish poet Maire Saaritsa in 2020 and they welcomed their first child in October 2022.
