Be still our beating hearts!

After two decades apart, the iconic Irish band Six reunited this weekend.

Although it wasn’t for a performance…

The gang came back together for what appeared to be a night out among old friends as they posed for a snap together.

Thankfully there are no rivalries here as they all looked delighted to reunite.

Sinéad Sheppard shared the picture to her Instagram much to the delight of fans and simply wrote: “20 years of Six and still smiling. Beyond grateful!”

Six, consisting of Sinéad Sheppard, Emma O’Driscoll, Kyle Anderson, Sarah Keating, Andy Orr and Liam McKenna, were managed by Louis Walsh. The group were formed and went on to win the Irish version of Popstars back in 2002!

It was also the same show that Nadine Coyle was originally selected to be in the band too before they discovered she had lied about her age and was only 16.

She of course then went on to be a member of Girls Aloud instead.

The band released their single There’s A Whole Lot Of Loving Going On which went on to be the fastest and third-biggest selling single in Irish music history.

They didn’t go on to find further success and disbanded in early 2003. But we would love a real reunion!
