Iain Stirling has gushed about his girlfriend Laura Whitmore on a recent TV appearance.
The comedian appeared on the Chris Ramsey Show this week, where he was asked by the host about comments that claim he is ‘punching above his weight’.
“I don’t think you’re punching above your weight. I think you’re a beautiful man,” Chris says.
Iain admits that he does feel as though he has done well for himself and that she is similar to him, but ‘much better’.
“I don’t mind it, because it just means I’ve done better haven’t I?” he said.
“I’ve got someone who’s like me, but much, much better. And Laura’s got someone who’s like her, but much worse. I think I’ve done quite well out of it, but I’m dead happy because she’s lovely and stuff.”
The couple has been dating for almost a year now, and recently reunited after being long-distance for six-weeks.
Laura was in South Africa filming new show Survival of the Fittest while Iain remained in the UK for work.
The comedian, and Love Island narrator showed off his soft side this Valentine’s day by recreating an iconic scene from Love Actually for Laura.
