Rumours have swirled since early this year that comedian, Iain Stirling and his girlfriend, Laura Whitmore are engaged.
Until now, the couple hadn’t confirmed or denied the news but the Love Island narrator sparked further rumours this week as he was spotted with a ring on his wedding finger.
Whilst appearing on a one-off men’s special of Loose Women this week eagle-eyed fans spotted the gold band on his wedding finger. Bray native, Laura has also been spotted with a diamond ring on her wedding finger in recent months.
The couple celebrated their three year anniversary in July of this year. Sharing a snap of them together on the special day, Laura simply said: “Three years.”
The pair officially got together in July 2017, shortly after being introduced to each other at an ITV party.
In 2018 the Love Island presenter discovered she was expecting a baby with Iain, but when they went for the 12 week scan, learned she sadly miscarried.
In a piece for Hotpress Magazine, Laura previously spoke about how important it is for women to reach out and share their experience with those closest to them.
“Miscarriages happen to 1 in 3 women. I didn’t know this, because most people just don’t talk about it. Now I’m part of that statistic,” she said.
“I hadn’t planned the pregnancy in the first place, so should I be sad? I was. That feeling was heightened because I felt I had to be sad alone: apart from a handful of people, no one knew.”
