Jennifer Zamparelli has opened up about adjusting to life now that she and husband Lau have welcomed their second child, baby boy Enzo.
The pair married in 2014, and had their first child, Florence a year later, but now the family have expanded to four since having baby Enzo back in January.
Jen, who presents 2FM’s Breakfast Republic with her Bridget and Eamonn co-star Bernard O’ Shea, has revealed that she’s looking forward to getting back to work.
“I miss the radio but Lottie is doing such a good job but I do see the lads, I see Bernard quite a lot,” she told The Irish Mirror.
“It’s quite nice having some proper time with the kids and not having to look at a newspaper.
“I’m back to work in September but don’t tell 2FM, I’m still kind of working, because we had to write another series of Bridget and Eamon and we’re filming for the whole month of July.
“It’s not like I’ve been off having coffees and sitting in the park, I’m still kind of working, I’m just not on air.
“A lot of people give out to me and tell me I should be getting back on air and that’s nice to hear, it’s nice to be wanted.
“But It’ll be hard to get back.”
Despite being anxious to get back to work, the funny woman also revealed she is having to adjust to life as a mum of two.
“Nobody really cares that you’ve had a second baby, they’re like so did you have the other baby yet!!”
“I don’t feel I am back to myself after, I feel I’ve a bit to go but you’re constantly running around.
“I breastfed but I’ve stopped now, and was like that’s enough now, it’s harder with two because I wanted to go off and have my own time with Florence and I found it too hard to do that with another one.”
We can’t wait to hear her back on the air!
