You may have heard by now – just a hunch, by the way – that Ireland successfully qualified for Euro 2016 last night, by beating Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-0.
The excitement that followed the big win was palpable across the country, with many rejoicing that the team are on the way to the football championship in France next year.
One celebration that really grabbed our attention, however, was Irish player Shane Long, who marked the occasion with his gorgeous little girl Teigan.
Dressed head-to-toe in green, the dad and daughter beamed as they soaked in the triumphant atmosphere in the Aviva Stadium, with Teigan proudly cuddling up to her father.

The 5-year-old was joined by her mum Kayleah at the match, and the pair excitedly posed for a picture on Instagram earlier in the evening, captioned: “Waiting in the lounge for the big game! Come on daddy. We are rooting for ya.”
