Hollywood star Charlie Hunnam has revealed that Conor McGregor greatly influenced his latest movie role.
The actor stars as the lead character in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and was inspired by the Dubliner.
“While I was playing Arthur, I thought an enormous amount about Conor McGregor, the reigning lightweight champion of the UFC,” he told The Red Bulletin.
“His attitude is ‘There is no opponent. I am fighting myself in the octagon. It’s only me and my own fears and the execution of my own ability that is going to win or lose a fight for me’.”
Meanwhile, another US actor has also revealed he’s a massive fan of the Irish MMA star.
Speaking to Xpose recently, Chris Pratt said, “I work with these big actors. I’m never starstruck, but if I see a UFC fighter, I lose it.”
He went on say that he wants to “go hang with McGregor,” adding, “I just wanna get a selfie with him.”
