Hollywood’s leading man Channing Tatum spent the weekend in Wexford and visited Wells House, country house museum with gardens and a petting zoo in Gorey.
The actor shared some of the trip on his Instagram story, showing of a new meerkat friend he met in the petting zoo. Captioning his post; “My matriarch for the day! She a real one.”
He also posted a video of the meerkat eating with the caption; “Feast my queen.”
Fans could believe Channing was actually in the country and took to Twitter to share their shock and excitment.

While Channing was able to fly under the radar those who did manage to see him were overjoyed.
The owner of Wells House, Sabine Rosler, loved getting to meet him, and told the Independent; “We were delighted he came and he enjoyed his time with us.”
Channing is here ahead of his new film The Lost City’s release. It will debut Friday, the 15th of April.
