Keith Duffy has said that his son Jay is not pursuing a career in acting for the limelight.
Jay, 21, is most known for his role as Declan in popular UK soap HollyOaks, and is keeping busy working on different acting projects.
“I mean it’s a different thing Jay is very focused on what he wants to do he’s not into all that bullsh*t. He’s very into the arts and his acting career, projecting a writer’s work onto stage or the screen.” Keith told The Irish Mirror.
“He’s not doing it to be famous, he shies away from it.”
Jay followed in his famous father’s footsteps when he took up his role on Hollyoaks, with Keith playing the lovable Irish character Kieran on Coronation Street over a period of ten years.
