Grainne Seoige’s home repossession case was in court this morning

Earlier this year, KBC Bank issued proceedings to repossess her home in Co. Wicklow.

According to reports, proceedings by KBC Bank against RTE star Grainne Seoige and her ex-husband Stephen Cullinane over their former home in Co.Wicklow have been adjourned generally.

The matter was before the County Register at Wicklow Circuit Court this morning, which was not attended by the tv presenter or her former husband, who she separated from in 2010 after eight years of marriage.

News emerged in August that proceedings to repossess Grainne Seoige’s €1m home in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow had begun.

The Irish Independent reports today that details as to why the bank is seeking repossession of the property have never been revealed.

A source previously told the Irish Mirror: “It’s highly likely the house has fallen into mortgage arrears like thousands of others around the country.

They added: “Grainne and Stephen are well known but no different to any others who bought property around the boom years.

“They’re like thousands of others around the country.”
