Florence Pugh thanks Ireland for being so welcoming

The actress is in Ireland currently filming a film adaption of novel The Wonder, written by Irish writer Emma Donoghue.

Pugh will play a young nurse who comes to observe the ‘fasting girl’, a young child who has stopped eating but continues to survive healthily.

She took to her Instagram stories to share her experience of Ireland so far saying, “I can’t tell you how gorgeous everyone is, every single person I interact with is lovely and so helpful…Everyone is so kind and ready to just have a good time with you. So, thank you Ireland for being so generous and welcoming”.

Florence sure has been enjoying some Irish culture as she went for Friday pints with Irish actor Jack Reynor recently. Posting a snap of herself with a Guinness she said “Happy Friday lads (DELICIOUS GUINNESS.. thank you both @madelinemulqueen and @jack_reynor)”.

Florence recently gave followers a first look at her in character in the new movie filming in Ireland.

Posting a picture in character Florence said, “First look at ‘The Wonder’. We’ve been traipsing around the Irish hills for the last week and it’s truly been a magnificent start to a beautiful and exciting film. What a story to get our teeth stuck into, what a crew to be working alongside and a fantastic director Sebastian Lelio to be leading us! This will be fun”.
