The second series of RTE 2’s Bridget and Eamon got underway last week, and fans were delighted with its return to their screens. The second episode aired last night, and it didn’t disappoint fans.
This week’s instalment of the show saw the unhappily married couple go head-to-head in their local election- and their respective political campaigns were nothing short of hilarious.
The comedy, which is set in 1980s Ireland, gripped fans last night as Jennifer Maguire and Bernard O’Shea made jokes out of the Irish political landscape of that time.
Fans took to social media to express that the show certainly cured their Monday blues, one fan even wrote, “There are only two people who can make me laugh on a Monday #BridgetAndEamon.”
