As usual, First Dates Ireland got the nation talking last night, but one contestant in particular kept everyone entertained with his blatant honesty.
Although several couples failed to find lasting romance on last night’s show, it seems that there might be a blossoming romance on the cards for one couple – despite a very awkward start to the date!
Eoin and Katie were a firm favourite with viewers on the show, thanks to Eoin’s blatant honesty at the beginning of the date.
Instead of starting off the date with the usual niceties, he blurted out that a bird “shat” while he was on his way to The Gibson Hotel.
Luckily for Eoin, Katie found his unusual opening line hilarious and they hit it off straight away, and agreed to go on a second date.
