Come rain or shine there’s always plenty going on around our little island, and here are our picks of some of the best events happening around the country in the coming weeks.

There’s something to do for all the family, whether it be outdoor activites for the kiddies or whiskey masterclasses for the adults, take a look at our event guide for some inspiration!

 

Bushmills Irish Whiskey Charcuterie Masterclass

Bushmills Whiskey are holding a charcuterie masterclass for foodies and whiskey enthusaists alike in Dublin next week, which looks set to be an event not to be missed.

A collaboration with Cork native, Rob Krawczyk, will see the chef and charcuterie master host a meat curing masterclass at Drury Buildings in Dublin on Wednesday 25th July in association with Bushmills Irish Whiskey Ambassador and acclaimed bartender, Paul Rocks.

You will be given a demonstration on how to cure and smoke meat, as well as samples of Bushmills whiskey throughout the night. Registration closes today, Friday July 20th so make sure to get in quick to secure your spot!

Samsung are giving you the opportunity to win one of five QLED tv’s in Dundrum town centre this Saturday July 21st.

To celebrate the launch of their new range, Samsung are giving away a brand new QLED tv every half an hour to five lucky customers between 12:30 and 3pm in Dundrum.

The hilarious Brian Dowling will be inviting shoppers to join in and play to win at Pembroke Square in Dundrum Town Centre, and testing their tv knowledge to win the amazing prize.

The Kraken Crawl

The Kraken Rum are hosting a ‘Kraken Crawl’ around Dublin and Belfast over the next week, and they want you to get involved!

The Kraken Crawl takes place in 10 venues across Dublin and Belfast from Thursday, 19th to Thursday, 26th July offering up dark and delightful cocktails allowing crawlers to experience some of the Kraken’s frightening favourites.

In Dublin, the Kraken will wrap its tentacles around Anseo, Ukiyo, The Chelsea Drugstore, JT Pims and Mulligan and Haines.

In Belfast, start your crawl at the Thirsty Goat before delving into the Bootleggers. All is fair in Love and Death before creeping into 39 Gordon Street and finishing up at the daring bar D.I.V.E. Belfast.

Taste some of The Kraken’s exciting new cocktails such as The Dark and Eerie, and Freak of the Deep, in what looks set to be a seriously fun event!

Camp Freddo

Cadbury are opening doors to Camp Freddo next week in Blessington Co.Wicklow.

With fun activities for all the family, it’s the perfect excuse to get the little ones out and about, with everyone’s favourite chocolate frog heading up the event.

From Tuesday 31 July to Saturday 4 August why not grab your sense of adventure and head out for some quality family time together. There will be canoeing, biking, picnicking, zip-lining through the forest and more at Avon Rí in Blessington, Co. Wicklow!
Families will be able to claim one ticket per person with a maximum of 4 for one of the below daily sessions:
· Tuesday: 10-4pm
· Wednesday: 10-4pm
· Thursday: 10-4pm
· Friday: 10-4pm
· Saturday: 10-4pm

Eatyard becomes Great yard for Archway Lager takeover

Dublin’s favourite food market Eatyard is being transformed next weekend for Franciscan Well’s Archway Lager takeover.

A weekend of fun, beer and great music as Little Green Cars, Fields and Paddy Hanna will be entertaining crowds throughout the weekend, and where the lager will be flowing freely.

A €10 ticket will guarantee you entry to the event, as well as two free Archway Lagers. You can book your tickets here to make sure you don’t miss out.
