You might have spotted a familiar face on your TV screens this morning, as Eric Roberts showed off his presenting skills on Ireland AM.
Yes, the social media star is taking over hosting duties on the morning breakfast show this weekend, and he couldn’t have got off to a better start!
Taking to Instagram on Thursday evening, Eric shared the exciting news with his followers.
“This weekend I’ll be presenting on @irelandamvmtv,” he stated.

“Not a small slot or segment, the full shows! I’m so excited and still can’t really believe it’s happening!
“I’ve only been presenting for a short time, so it’s an incredible opportunity,” he added.
“More than a little bit nervous, wish me luck! And tune in Friday, Saturday & Sunday.”
Now, this isn’t Eric’s first time in the Ireland AM studio — he’s previously stepped in for regular weather forecaster Deric Hartigan and has even co-hosted several news segments alongside Muireann O’Connell and Alan Hughes.
So safe to say, the Donegal native is more than ready for this new challenge!
