Enda Kenny had a very special video message for Lucy Kennedy as she presented her last Six O’Clock Show before going on maternity leave.
The much loved presenter is expecting her third child with husband Richard Governey and she had been working hard on the TV3 show throughout her pregnancy, but on Thursday the time finally came her for to go on maternity leave and get some much needed rest and relaxation.
However, The Six O’Clock Show didn’t let her go without a bang, and they got the man who makes her “heart skip a beat” to leave her a very special message.
Enda Kenny recorded a video wishing the seasoned presenter the very best with her pregnancy.
“I heard on the grapevine that you’re going off today to prepare for another arrival for Holly and Jack.” he said. “I hope all goes well and that the little baby is healthy and beautiful, just like yourself.”
Lucy was over the moon with the message and took to Twitter to thank the Taoiseach.
