
It’s official! Electric Picnic 2022 is sold out.
Many festival fans were left disappointed today as tickets for the much loved weekend in Stradbally were snapped up within minutes.
Tickets went on sale this morning at 9am for the festival which is taking place in September for the first time since 2019, with the past two years being interrupted by the pandemic.
Announcing that all tickets were sold out the festival wrote on Instagram, “Electric Picnic 2022 is SOLD OUT. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stuck with us and held on to tickets. EP22 will be an incredibly special reunion, we’ll see you all in September!”
Fans on Twitter weren’t too happy with the speed at which the tickets were snapped up…

For those who were lucky enough to get tickets, big things were expected of the weekend. Headlining the annual event is none other than Dermot Kennedy, Megan Thee Stallion, Tame Impala, Picture This, Arctic Monkeys and Snow Patrol.
Also scheduled to play is Anne-Marie, Annie Mac, Fontaines D.C, Glass Animals, London Grammar Pixies, The Kooks, Wolf Alice, Denise Chaila, Saint Sister and many more.
It’s great to see them back in action!
