Courteney Cox was introduced to her Irish rocker fiance Johnny McDaid through Ed Sheeran back in 2013, and now it seems the actress wants to repay him by allowing Ed to officiate their wedding.
She recently hinted he would play a special role in the wedding, but this goes above and beyond any expectations.
According to a source in the Daily Star, Ed thinks it would be “a hoot” to officiate the wedding of his close friends.
In America it’s possible for people to become certified for these religious orders in less than 72 hours, so it’s very possible the singer could take on the role.
Ed’s already set to play some music at the wedding, but this new duty may be a little bit more important.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Courteney said, “We are certainly grateful to Ed for introducing us. I can’t imagine him not playing something at the wedding.”
