Ed Sheehan and Johnny McDaid delighted wedding guests this weekend, as they sang at a family ceremony in Co. Down.
The duo were in town for Johnny’s sister’s wedding, and were more than happy to perform live for the couple’s first dance.
Brid McDaid wed Sandy Statam on Sunday, and enjoyed a lavish afterparty at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel, where good pals Ed and Johnny sang a number of hit songs, including Chasing Cars and Superstition.
The hotel shared a video of the event on social media and said, “We’ve hosted some fantastic wedding bands but few like this….Many congratulations to the happy couple Brid and Sandy, it was a pleasure to have been part of your special day….the great music comes courtesy of Johnny McDaid and Ed Sheeran.”
According to the Belfast Telegraph, Courteney Cox was also in attendance, alongside her daughter Coco.
The former FRIENDS star has been spending a lot of time in Ireland over the past number of weeks, having just recently filmed the new series of Running Wild with Bear Grylls.
While shooting the show, Courteney opened up about her relationship with Johnny, revealing that while their break-up last year was “brutal”, it gave them time to work on themselves and they have come out stronger.
It was also recently reported that the duo could be set to marry in Ireland.
Exciting times ahead!
