It seems that tv’s golden couple still battle with their own set of marital issues, as Eamonn Holmes admitted that he was furious when he believed his wife and co-host Ruth Langsford had cheated on him.
The couple presented their usual Friday slot on This Morning and were discussing British comedian Rory McGrath’s sentencing, after he admitted to harassing a woman he had an affair with.
The conversation topic led Eamonn to recount his recent experience dreaming that Ruth had cheated on him – with a skydiver!
“What does a woman have… a lover? I dreamt you had a lover yesterday. I was very cross. He was a skydiver!”he said.
“I was wondering why you were going skydiving all the time.”
Ruth responded saying, “You were very cross, weren’t you?”
As they continued their discussion on infidelity, Ruth was keen to remind her other half that she’d be gone if he ever cheated on her.
“Just to be clear. I wouldn’t stick around.” she said.
