The rumours began after Lisa expressed interest in one-off specials to keep the show going and according to Tara if Lisa wants to, then so does she.

Confessing; “I would do anything for Lisa because at the end of the day, she gave me this great opportunity and it has changed my life. It hasn’t changed my work life but it’s changed my personal life.”

Elaborating on how the show changed her life, the actress explained; “It’s helped my confidence, and it’s helped financially obviously. It’s made me braver.”

While future special episodes have yet to be confirmed, fans are still able to enjoy season three. And it’s not just viewers who have loved this season, as Tara also shared her appreciation for the latest series. Confessing one of her favourite moments was this weeks throwback episode.

The episode followed Mary and Sarah as they met old friends to attend their school reunion, with flashbacks to their teenage years when they went to the leavers disco.

The unique episode was a big hit with fans, and Tara as well.

She revealed; “There’s an episode where there’s no children, and there’s younger versions of ourselves, which has been so brilliant to do. The script is unbelievable.”

She also praised Shauna Higgins, the actress who played the young version of her character. Gushing; “the girl who plays the young Ma Mary is amazing.”

“It’s frightening when you see yourself reflected back.”
