Dermot Kennedy has had a pretty busy weekend.
He played back-to-back sold-out gigs at Marlay Park on Friday and Saturday before he jetted over to the UK to step onto the stage at Glastonbury.
The singer took to social media to share his disbelief of being able to perform for so many people.
“Glastonbury, thank you so much for showing up like that for me today,” he wrote alongside a picture of himself on the Glastonbury stage.

“The last three days have been insane. The two biggest headline shows I’ve ever done, straight into Glastonbury this afternoon on no sleep.
“We’ve been on the road since February, and some of the shows we’ve gotten to do have been so incredible, in some of the best venues in the world. This will all sink in in a while. I’m about to lie down for a week straight. Please know that I love ya.”
A well-deserved rest after three intense shows back to back is en route.
He shared a video after his two shows in Marlay Park in the heart of Dublin of the incredible crowd singing his songs back to him.

“80,000 people over two nights in my hometown is something that will never ever leave me,” he wrote.
“Listen to that crowd!!! My love for our country is something that’s impossible to describe. The amount of smiling faces I saw in that crowd was the most beautiful thing. Thank you for everything.”
