Daniel O’Donnell and Nathan Carter delivered a special performance together at last night’s RTE Irish Country Music Awards.
The two country singers took to the stage to perform Nathan’s hit single ‘Wagon Wheel’, much to the delight of the crowd.
The talented musicians have never performed ‘Wagon Wheel’ on stage together, so when they came together to perform the hit song the crowd went wild.
Daniel was the host of the Awards ceremony last night and he received a great reception thanks to his wit and killer charm.
Nathan was a big winner on the night after he bagged the coveted ‘Live Act of the Year’ award.
During his acceptance speech he thanked RTE for giving country music a place for prime time viewing.
He said, “Fair play to RTE for giving country music so much air time on a great night like this.”
The singer also took to Twitter to post a photo of himself with the award saying, “Delighted with my award from tonight’s ICMAs.”
Other winners on the night included; Robert Mizzell, Jimmy Buckley, Lisa McHugh and Michael English.
