Name a more iconic couple than Daniel and Majella O’Donnell.
Last year, they marked two decades of marriage. So it’s no surprise that they made a very special effort to celebrate after ringing in the new year.
The couple chose to renew their wedding vows in an intimate ceremony in their beloved Donegal.
They were joined by their loved ones in their Kincasslagh home in West Donegal.
Daniel shared a picture of the happy couple during the ceremony. The crooner looked dapper in a three-piece suit, while Majella wore a simple white dress.
“After a wonderful 20 years of marriage, Majella and I renewed our vows with a small family gathering tonight at our home in Donegal,” he captioned the pictures.
The couple originally tied the knot on November 4th, 2002 after meeting in Tenerife.
Fans of the pair flooded to the comments to congratulate the happy couple including Father Ray Kelly, who said: “Congratulations Daniel and Majella, you are both truly blessed.”
The couple shared the secret to their long-lasting marriage with VIP Magazine back when they were celebrating 16 years of marriage.
“We’re like a pair of socks. I’m the right and he’s the left. We’ll always plod along together quite happily,” Majella told us at the time.
