And he's not stopping there...

Conor has opened up on how his Irish roots make him a better fighter

Conor McGregor has applied to have his name and nicknames trademarked.

According to The Sunday Times, the Crumlin native applied to register a few trademarks including; The Notorious and the Mac Life.

The UFC champion is planning on cashing in on his success with a range of merchandise.

The application was made by trademark lawyer FR Kelly on 7th July but they are yet to hear back with a decision.

Conor’s set to rake in even more cash!

Intellectual property lawyer Brian Conroy told the Irish Mirror he was surprised Conor has waited this long to trademark his renowned name.

He said, “Unlike the WWE, mixed martial arts fighters’ are not trademarked by the UFC, so it’s up to them.

“It’s baffling why someone who says they want to ‘get rich and get out’ hasn’t protected their image before now, but there is a genuine lack of awareness about the importance of trademarking in Ireland.”

We’ve no doubt that if all goes to plan Conor’s merchandise will be a best seller!
