Comedy double act Flight of The Conchords have announced that they will be postponing their UK and Ireland tour dates due to an injury suffered by star Bret McKenzie.
The duo were set to play Dublin’s 3Arena on March 25th and April 2nd, but following Bret breaking two bones in his hand due to a bad fall while on tour, they have announced that they will have to halt their remaining dates.
Unfortunately I’ve broken two bones in my hand today in a very rock ‘n’ roll injury – falling down some stairs. The doctors have informed me that I won’t be able to perform for several weeks. I’m sorry not to be able to do these upcoming shows but I’m looking forward to coming back and finishing the tour when I have two fully functioning hands. -Bret McKenzie Full Info: http://smarturl.it/fotcpostpone
Bret’s comedic partner Jermaine Clement posted on twitter, wishing his friend well and apologising for the inconvenience to fans.
“UK and Ireland, the tour has been great so far but we are really sorry we have to pause it for now…
“Wishing Bret the best and hope he gets bretter soon.”
