Celia Holman Lee went down memory lane with VIP Magazine as we celebrate 25 years on shelves across the country.
Celia recalls seeing the magazine for the first time.
“To get VIP to come cover your fashion show was massive, it was like the Bible – huge!” she says.
And of course, it’s not long before we’re talking about Style Awards. Celia was the first ever Most Stylish Woman!
She laughs as she remembers the awkward run-in she had with Nicky Byrne on the night!
“A funny story from that night is that Nicky Byrne from Westlife won Most Stylish Man and I didn’t know who he was because he was only a baby starting out, and I said, ‘Darling, what do you
do?’” she laughs.
“And he says, ‘I’m in a boyband’! And I say, ‘Well, I wish you the best of luck, love!’”
And she can’t stop laughing at this!
Ah Celia, never change!
