Caitriona Perry is back on our screens.
The RTÉ presenter returned to the hot seat after taking maternity leave following the birth of her second child.
She reunited with her co-presenter David McCullagh for the Six One News.
She couldn’t hide her delight as she shared a picture of the pair of them before they went live.

She also shared a behind-the-scenes video of her preparing to return to the screen for the first time in 2023.
Caitriona welcomed a baby boy with her husband back in September.
She shared that her tot had arrived on social media simply writing: “Some #goodnews …Delighted to announce the arrival of a beautiful baby boy.
“Thanks to the wonderful doctors and midwives for ensuring his safe arrival. On #matleave now but will be #backsoon #rtenews #sixone Thanks for all the well wishes and queries.”
Caitriona announced that she was expecting her second child almost a year ago after fans spotted her blossoming bump.
“Just want to say a quick thank you to the many keen-eyed @rtenews viewers who have been in touch with good wishes,” she shared alongside a picture of a bunch of flowers.
“Well spotted! I am indeed expecting some more news of my own later this year.”
