Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian are officially seven years married today, and in celebration of the milestone, Brian shared a sweet throwback to their glamourous wedding.
The pair tied the knot in Powerscourt, Co. Wicklow after three years of dating. Brian’s anniversary post was a snap of the couple on their big day. Both men looked stunning in black tuxedos with black bow-ties and red flower corsages.
Captioning their post with a sweet message, the Big Brother star looked back on the couple’s relationship throughout the years.
Writing: “Let’s think back to that very first night we met in London in 2002. Me knocking back a Smirnoff Ice & you not really speaking a word of English. Fast forward 20 years later when we are married 7 years & have a baby on the way.”
“I still feel like we are those 2 twenty-somethings living in London, laughing every day with not a care in the world. But the fact is we can be anything we want together. With you, by my side, I can DO IT ALL.”
Continuing on Brian looked back on his experience as they said “I do”, remembering the advice his mother gave him on the day.
Writing: “I remember on our Wedding Day as my mum walked me down the aisle she told me not to mess this up. I wasn’t insulted she said this to me, after all, she’s my mum & knows me the good & the bad. I took her advice after all she is a mum to 7 & had been happily married for 38yrs at the time. WOW, when you say it like that 38yrs is SUCH A LONG TIME.”
Sharing how they keep their marriage strong, Brian confessed it all comes down to putting in the effort.
Explaining: “When I was single I often wondered what’s the key to a happy marriage, what you have to do to stay happy. The fact is there is no secret ingredient or magic potion it’s about putting the work in & compromise.”
“A good marriage is like any other relationship, you have to put the work in to reap the rewards. I shall continue to put the good work in as the REWARDS ARE JUST SO SO GOOD.”
Finishing off his tribute Brian thanked Arthur for their time together.
Saying: “Thank you for LOVING ME every day even on the days I piss you off & refuse to do TikToks with you. I’m 100% not the most romantic person in the world but we are SOULMATES. I look forward to growing old with you Mr. Gourounlian. Well let’s be honest you will grow old my face hasn’t moved in 10 years”
Arthur shared a sweet reply to his husband. Commenting: “Je t’aime de tout mon cœur and I am beyond excited and ready to move to the next chapter. We can do this and we are SO doing this.”

Brian and Arthur are expecting their first child in September via surrogate.
