U2 frontman Bono took daughter Eve Hewson [23] out on the town over the weekend for a father-daughter bonding sesh.
But it was no typical family outing – the pair were joined by iconic producer Quincy Jones and his actress daughter Rashida [39] who stars on hit show Parks and Recreation.
It was, by all means, a small and low-key get together between world-renowned legends.
The record producer’s The Office star daughter shared a photo of the four with the caption; “Dads + daughters.”
Eve, who’s dating former One tree Hill actor James Lafferty, has been trying to break into the movie biz over the past few years and although the actress has achieved much acclaim in the industry, she has learned that having a famous dad does not always equal a free ticket into Hollywood;
“What’s great about Hollywood is that it is cutthroat, and it really f**king doesn’t matter who you are,” she said. “If you’re not right for the part, you’re not right for the part…No director is going to sacrifice their film because they want someone’s famous kid in it for a headline.”
Speaking about her parent’s support for her career, she said: “My parents were being protective of me, and I honestly didn’t think they would have been good parents if they weren’t wary of me, their daughter, entering the entertainment industry.”
The films that Eve is known for are This Must Be the Place (2011), Enough Said (2013) and The 27 Club (2008).
