Two of our favourite Irish rugby stars set Twitter alight last night with their hilarious ‘throwback’ snaps.
Brian O’Driscoll kicked things off by sharing a photo of Gordon D’Arcy, sporting an extremely questionable haircut from his earlier days on the pitch, after it was announced that he will retire after the World Cup
“What an unbelievable team mate & centre partner @Gordonwdarcy was for 15 years. Class is permanent as is the internet”, the funny man tweeted, alongside a snap of Gordan during his early glory days.
Gordon is due to retire from professional rugby and his close friend acknowledged this in a truly Irish manner, with sarcasm, humour and wit.
It must be said that we’ve seen BOD sporting a few dodgy hairdo’s himself, which his pal Gordon was quick to point out.
He quickly responded with an even more hilarious photo of his former teammate and a caption which read, “Thank you @brianodriscoll, we had a good run at it 😉 that internet thing is terrible.”
It’s hard to believe that the pair managed to bag themselves such beautiful other halves with the hairstyles they were sporting.
Aoife Cogan and Amy Huberman are yet to comment on their husbands online banter, or indeed their haircuts.
