Bernard Brogan has decided to change things up, giving himself a brand new ‘do, while raising money for charity.
The Dublin GAA legend took to social media and said if donations for the Do It For Dan campaign reached €27,000 he’d shave his head.
The charity fundraiser was set up to help baby Dan Donoher, who suffers from a rare muscular disease, receive urgent medical treatment in the US.
As the campaign surpassed €30k, Bernard stuck to his word and took a razor to his tresses.
Similarly, rugby star Rob Kearney also shaved his head last week in a bid to raise money for healthcare workers battling the pandemic.
“Happy to do a small bit to raise some awareness for Leinster Rugby charity partners – all donations greatly appreciated,” he captioned the photo.
We’re glad to see everyone getting involved and doing their part to raise money for such worthy causes.
