Try to remain calm, but there is strong speculation that Adele and Garth Brooks may have headline gigs at Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork next year.
Lord Mayor of Cork Councillor Des Cahill spoke on Cork’s Red FM where he revealed that planning is underway for the concerts, and although he is confident they will go ahead, they have not been confirmed by the Adele and Garth’s camps just yet.
“Although the concerts have yet to be officially confirmed the speculation that two blockbuster gigs are in the pipeline for the new Cork stadium in the summer of 2017 is a huge boost.
“The speculation that we could be welcoming Garth Brooks and Adele to Leeside next summer is outstanding news for Cork,” he said.
Garth Brooks was scheduled to play 3 gigs in Dublin’s Croke Park in 2014, but after a lot of controversy they unfortunately didn’t go ahead. Adele sold out 3 nights in Dublin’s 3 Arena back in March and brought the house down.
If this Ain’t Goin’ Down we’ll be very upset, but we’ll find Someone Like You….eh?
