Aoibhín Garrihy has admitted that she’s had her fair share of arguments with new hubby, John Burke.

The DWTS semi-finalist got married to her partner of seven years last September in a lavish ceremony in Co.Clare, attended by close family and friends. And although it may seem like their relationship is picture perfect, Aoibhín has revealed that they have had their disagreements, just like everyone else.

Their relationship was really put to the test a few years ago when they climbed to Mount Everest base camp together – and had to forgo showering for two weeks!

“It was a bit of a relationship test,” she told Life Magazine. “We didn’t shower for two weeks and I had altitude sickness. I was losing the plot and therefore some serious disagreements with us along the way.”

Luckily their relationship survived the challenging trip, but now the couple are facing another difficult period, as John prepares to climb Everest in the coming months.

“I can’t bear the idea of saying goodbye to him at the airport and then off he goes to Everest and he’ll be gone for two-and-a-half-months, and me not knowing a lot of the time whether he’s ok or not.” she said.

Aoibhín is one of the final four contestants on Dancing with the Stars, and she’s preparing to take on a Contemporary Ballroom dance to Nothing Compares 2 U on tonight’s show.
