Anna Daly has praised Aer Lingus for their customer service on board a recent flight.
The TV presenter explained that she and her son were hugely comforted by a member of the cabin crew on the plane.
Taking to Instagram to share a photo of the woman, holding her little boy, she said: “Always feel it’s important to recognise excellent customer service & Aer lingus fly high in that dept.
“Thank you to the lovely cabin crew especially this girl, Leah. Holding & comforting baby Rhys & easing my fear of upsetting an entire plane with a screaming baby.”
The post received a huge reaction from her followers with thousands on likes and various comments.
One woman even knew cabin crew member Leah, and was able to put her and Anna in touch.
Leah replied to the post saying: “I’m so humbled by this post, Anna… thank you so much. You’ve made my Easter weekend by writing this. Reece was a star and has great parents to match so thanks.”
Anna replied: “aww how lovely. I’d no idea this post would get to you tbh but delighted it has. Chalk it up for your next appraisal with @aerlingus.”
She added: “#promotion for Leah!”
