Jedward recently raised some eyebrows when they announced they would be modelling for Jean Paul Gaultier, and now it seems Hozier is following them down the high fashion route by appearing in the coveted US Vogue magazine.
Bray native Hozier, one of Ireland’s most succesful music exports in recent years, graces the pages in the June issue of the world’s glossiest fashion bible.
The 24-year-old poses alongside model Caroline Trentini in a photo shoot which marries 1970s Bohemian fashions with a Rock n Roll/Americana vibe.
His manager Caroline Downey Desmond announced the news by praising the star online.
“Love @hozier in the June addition of American Vogue. All the photos are fantastic. Hard to pick a favourite,” she tweeted.
It comes after Hozier performed at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last December. The singer songwriter has done extremely well for himself in the US, performing on all major chat shows and recently being awarded with two gongs at the glitzy Billboard awards.
Meanwhile, X Factor favourites John and Edwards Grimes have been hailed as twin angels by legendary designer John Paul Gaultier.
The 23-year-olds looked very much the part as they strutted their stuff in handmade garbs by the top designer during the Life Ball in Vienna, and it seems they made a likeable impression.
Edward told Metro.Co.Uk: “Backstage we got close to Paula Abdul and Kelly Osbourne and became good friends. We danced the night away with super models and felt accepted by all the fashion industry and Jean Paul’s team.
“The editor of Italian Vogue gave us some tips on walking the catwalk and later on we had a dance off at the after party and talked fashion.”
