An Irish bombshell is reportedly set to enter the Love Island villa

This year’s Love Island has been given what we’ve asked for…and that’s Irish islanders.

We’ve already been blessed with OG islander Catherine, who hales from Dublin. And now an Irish bombshell is set to join the villa crew.

Considering the likes of Maura Higgins, and champion Greg O’Shea were bombshells, we are very excited to see our next entrance.

According to Limerick Live, boxer Lee Reeves is rumoured to be walking through the heart-shaped arches, and heading to the villa.

A source told the publication: “Apparently he could be entering Love Island as a bombshell. I’ve heard from some people he has flown over already.”

While another source told them: “He has been keeping a low profile and nobody close to him is saying much.”

So how likely is it we will see the boxer swapping matches for Mallorca? Well he did announce he would be taking a break from his phone for a while. Something all contestants have to do.

Taking to his IG stories Lee wrote: “PSA: Soon I’m going to be off my phone. Got a lot of stuff going on that will eventually be told. All positive I hope!”

“It may be for a week or may be a month so have patience and don’t unfollow me cause I will be back. I just got some stuff that needs all my focus and energy now and a phone will be a distraction. I love you all very much. Future posts if there’s any, will be by #TeamReeves.”

The Limerick native also works as a model with Assets Model Agency.

But when not model or chasing a world championship title, the 27-year-old is a core member in his community. Making headlines in March for saving a drowning woman’s life.

Although Lee had previously told the Irish Mirror he had been approached by different reality show and turned to the offers. Saying: “I was approached by two or three different shows on MTV.”

“The whole drinking and nightlife stuff isn’t something that I want to be pushing out to the youth.”

“There’s so much you can gain from those shows, but so much you can lose from them at the same time. It’s not productive for my career.”

However, with fellow boxers like Tommy Fury, finding love and success on the show, maybe he was convinced. Either way we will be keeping an eye out for any texts to the villa in the coming days!
