All the Irish beauty products used in Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy

Bridget Jones is back – and this time she’s Mad About The Boy.

In the latest instalment of the series, Bridget (played by Renée Zellweger) is grieving the loss of husband Mark, four years after his passing.

Now a mother of two, she decides it’s finally time to get back out there, join some dating apps and see what happens.

She meets Roxster (played by Leo Woodall), who is a lot younger than her and the ‘Boy’ in question. She also has a bit of a thing with Scott (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a local teacher.

Who will Bridget end up with? Will she end up with anyone? Could Daniel Cleaver have a shot of getting back in there? Only time will tell.

But that’s not what we’re here to talk about. There are more pressing matters at hand – like two Irish beauty brands being featured in the movie. Yes, really!

Sculpted By Aimee products can be seen in the background of some scenes, an inclusion brand founder Aimee Connolly confirmed on Instagram.

Sharing a WhatsApp screenshot of her mam saying Renée was wearing Sculpted in the film, she said: “Fact correction, yes Bridget was wearing Sculpted and there are products on display in the movie too.”

The brand sent the production company some products while they were shooting, and they liked them enough to include them in the film. Unreal.

The same is true for Athlone based skincare brand, deDANÚ, who also appear in the movie… a lot!

“WOW! Watching Bridget Jones’s Diary: About a Boy and spotting deDANÚ in the pharmacy scene, bathroom scene, living room scene and even the bedroom scene was a surreal moment,” they said.

“Little old us being part of a Hollywood film… who would’ve thought?!

“We’ve always focused on slow, steady, and meaningful growth, staying true to natural skincare and wellness without shortcuts.

“This is crazy for us! It is such a proud milestone, and we’re so excited!”

Incredible scenes.
