It has been a very busy year for celebrity babies, we’ve seen a lot of cuteness on our Instagram feeds with new babies being welcomed into the world. Since we are coming to the end of 2021, we decided to do a round-up of all of the adorable celebrity babies we’ve seen announced this year, just to re-live the excitement all over again.
Terrie McEvoy and David Fitzpatrick
Terrie McEvoy and her husband David welcomed their daughter Sydney in November. This is their first child together and the influencer and nurse shared the gorgeous news to social media writing, “The beginning of the rest of our lives. Our hearts are ready to burst with love and gratitude.
“Welcome to the world baby girl.”
Tara O’Farrell and her husband Daniel
Tara O’Farrell and her husband Daniel welcomed their son Jools who is their second child together.
Sharing the news on social media Tara wrote, “Jools Anderson came in to our world earlier this week, we are enjoying every second of him and I’m dying for him to meet his big brother Gene.”
Devon Murray and Shannon McCaffrey Quinn
Harry Potter star Devon Murray and his partner Shannon McCaffrey Quinn shared their joy after welcoming their son Cooper into the world.
Devon made a sweet announcement on Instagram sharing the news, “Yesterday 2/1/21 my life changed forever. Shannon delivered our beautiful little boy ‘Cooper Michael Murray’ weighing 6lbs 10oz. Both are doing amazing now after a very long labour and a scary few minutes at the end.
“It still hasn’t sunk in just yet that we have our very own little boy. I can’t wait to make the most amazing memories with Shannon and Cooper as we begin our little family. I’m so amazed by Shannon and she is now my Hero. I’m so proud of her for everything she has gone through. I can’t wait to have you both home. It’s so hard having to leave you both. I will love you both forever until my last breathe.”
Laura Whitmore and Iain Sterling
Laura Whitmore and Iain Sterling also experienced baby joy when they welcomed their daughter into the world in April. Laura thanked her followers for their love when their daughter was one-week-old saying, “Thanks for all the kind messages at this time. We are in love.”
Peter O’Mahony and Jessica O’Mahony
The Style Fairy aka Naomi Clarke welcomed her third child to the world; a beautiful baby girl named Kaia. Announcing the news of her arrival, Naomi said, “I can’t believe she’s here… she was a few weeks early but she surpassed everyone’s expectations. A fighter, just like her sisters.”
We welcomed baby Beau Healy to the world on 15th January and every day since we have been loving and learning. I could sit and stare at him all day long!”
Brian McFadden and Danielle Parkinson
Brian McFadden and Danielle Parkinson also had their first child together in 2021, they welcomed a daughter named Ruby. After her birth he shared; “It’s been the best week of our life.”
Amilia and Conall Keating
Amilia and Conall Keating welcomed baby number two this year. Their son Sonnie James Keating was born in November and Amilia shared the news woth a sweet picture on Instagram writing;
“Sonnie James Keating 18-11-21 and 9lbs on the button! Dreams really do come true. I love you @c.a._keating Thank you to the Staff @thecoombehospital who played a blinder and went above and beyond for us.”
The happy couple, who were already parents to little Esme, welcomed their second child this summer.
Introducing followers to their second daughter Louise wrote, “Meet our beautiful little girl Elin Galvin. She is the sweetest little thing and we can’t believe she’s ours. Forever grateful to the amazing staff at NMH for getting her here safely 22.06.21.”
Kathryn Thomas and her husband Pádraig welcomed their second child this year. The couple, who already had a little girl, Ellie, welcomed another girl into their family.
Announcing the news to social media she said; “Welcome to the world little angel. Our gorgeous girl, Grace Anne McLoughlin was born safely on Tues 26th @ 11.35am weighing 8lbs 3oz.”
Lottie Ryan and her husband, Fabio Aprile became first-time-parents when their son Wolf was born.
“The newest member of our little family! Our hearts are so full of joy, forever grateful to the incredible staff at The Rotunda particularly NICU – there are are no words to describe how much we appreciate how well you looked after Wolf. Let the adventure begin,” she wrote after giving birth.
George McMahon and Rachel Smyth
The happy couple welcomed baby number two this year, announcing the wonderful news to social media, as well as revealing the gorgeous name they’ve chosen George said; “Yesterday our lives changed again for the better. We welcomed Kody Bloom McMahon to the world. We are bursting with love.”
Caroline Morahan and Daithi O’Caoimh
Presenter Caroline Morahan announced the arrival of her second child this year; a beautiful baby girl named Ava.
Sharing the first snap of her daughter she wrote, “This picture was taken 3 weeks ago when this little peach arrived and we all fell in love. Ava Penelope has brought so much joy (and extra laundry) into our lives. We can’t wait for our family and friends to get to cuddle her for real.”
The couple were already parents to twin boys, Donagh and Keadán who they welcomed into the world back in 2018. Their latest addition to the family was a little girl named Aifric.
Bernard shared his joy on social media saying, “So grateful for our beautiful baby Aifric! Thanks you @keekib22 for our amazing family and to @rotundahospital for minding both so well! #blessed.”
Vanessa Butler and her partner Sean O’Callaghan welcomed their first child into the world in November.
Announcing the news to social media she shared a gorgeous photo of their new arrival; “Welcome to the world Áine Eve O’Callaghan.”
Alicia Vikander and Irish actor Michael Fassbender welcomed their first child together into the world this year. The pair, who are notoriously private, had kept the news of their little one to themselves for a while but eventually shared their joy speaking with US publication, People Magazine about motherhood Alicia said; “I now have a whole new understanding of life in general.
“That’s pretty beautiful and obviously will give a lot to any of my work in the future.”
Amy De Bhrún and Seán Branigan
Amy De Bhrún and her partner Seán welcomed their second child into the world.
The Line of Duty star announced the news to social media, sharing some gorgeous snaps of the little one; “We are besotted, grateful and cannot thank the amazing staff at The Coombe enough.”
Pippa o’Connor and Brian Ormond welcomed their third child into the world, a baby boy named Billy.
Announcing the news on social media Brian shared; “Welcome to the world Billy Ormond. Our beautiful baby boy arrived safely yesterday weighing 9lbs 15oz.”
Shane Lowry and his wife, Wendy welcomed their second child into the world this year.
Sharing a gorgeous snap to social media the pro-golfer said; “Welcome to this world Ivy Lowry.” The happy couple already have a four-year-old daughter named Iris, making them a family of four.
Aoibhin Garrihy and John Burke
Aoife Walsh introduced followers to her daughter Penelope Rose in 2021. Penelope, who will have the nickname Penny, was born in July and is Aoife’s first child.
There was baby joy for Kevin Kilbane and Brianne Delcourt this year when the happy couple announced the arrival of their beautiful little girl named Olivia.
Sharing the news on social media Kevin wrote, “Welcome into the world Olivia Mai Kilbane! Born this morning 8.30am (1.30pm Irish time) Weighing 6lbs 11oz. My wife @brianne_tv is just incredible… I couldn’t adore them both any more…”

This happy couple welcomed a baby boy named Phoenix Blaze Byram Okines this year.
Posting a picture on Instagram of their intertwining hands Amanda wrote, “And then there was you….

Carl mullen and his fiancé Aisling
The 2fm breakfast host welcomed his first son with his longtime love Aisling into the world this year and shared a sweet video on Instagram introducing his son to the world.
In the caption he wrote, “Helloooo everyone, Welcome to the world Daibhí Mullan, it’s pretty great here, you’re going to love it. Thank you everyone for all the lovely messages checking in on us over the last couple of weeks. We’ve just been loving every second of our new life as a family and trying to taking it all in…”
Ger Treacy and Bernard O’Toole
Ger Treacy and her husband, Bernard welcomed their first child into the world in November and shared some gorgeous snaps, on Instagram after their daughter’s birth.
Ger wrote, “Meet our gorgeous girl Kitty O’Toole. Named after my amazing Nanny Kitty Connolly she arrived 3 weeks early, weighing 5 pounds 10 ounces. Daddy @bernardotoole1 and I are madly in love with our little Kitty.”
Dearbhla Toal and Harry Silke
The influencer and her fiancé Harry Silke welcomed her son Cillian Silke into the world this year and shared a special moment of mother and babies first hand hold to announce the news on Instagram.
“For all the things my hands have held, the best by far is you 💫Welcome to the world Cillian Silke, a ghrá mo chroí,” she captioned the picture.
