Appearing on Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett’s hit Podcast Dish, Aisling Bea opened up about her love for LA.
Of course, she stuck to her Irish roots as she gave the “humble spud” a shout-out during the course of their conversation.
And while she will always be an Irish girl at heart, she couldn’t help but share her admiration for Los Angeles.
Something, she jokes, you’re not supposed to say.

“I quite like being there…I mean I think that’s like a thing you’re not supposed to say because then it reflects badly on your personality in some way if you like it.”
She splits her time between sunny LA and her base in London, Aisling says she enjoys the LA pace of life.
“I think culturally I like the sort of big brashness of Americans, it sort of suits my vibe.”

The episode delves into an encounter Nick and Aisling had while at an upmarket gym in LA which resulted in the pair getting facials.
“I was in the face gym to get my face massaged for a party I was going to in the hills and who did I meet but Nick Grimshaw – It makes you feel like you are not that showbizzy if you meet someone who you can sort of meet down the road when you’re there”
Nick chimes in saying: “It was also quite sad that it was a Friday night and that’s what we were doing”
