Eamonn Holmes shocked This Morning viewers today when he answered a call on his personal phone – live on air!
The tv presenter was alongside his wife Ruth Langsford on the ITV morning programme, interviewing celeb chef Jamie Oliver, when the hilarious moment occurred.
Jamie was chatting to the couple about superfoods when they were suddenly interrupted. The 56-year-old’s phone started ringing in his pocket and intrigued to know who it was, he answered. Both Jamie and Ruth found the whole thing very funny.

Viewers also saw the funny side, and took to Twitter to express their amusement at the blunder.
One said, “Too funny!…Eamonn Holmes gives his pal a ticking off as he calls him live on air,” while another wrote, “So funny @SkyStephen calling @EamonnHolmes while live on @ItvThisMorning hope he returned his call.”
His friend obviously didn’t know Eamonn was on the telly….
