Jeremy McConnell is prepared to take a paternity test live on This Morning.
The Irish model wants to find out if he’s the father of Stephanie’s baby once and for all, and is willing to go to desperate lengths to ensure he gets those answers.
The Irish model, who previously told TVNow Magazine that he’s not the father of the child, has gone back on those claims, admitting to The Sun, “I do believe I am the father. I want the baby to be mine.”
In a bid to find out the truth, Jeremy is willing to do a DNA test on air today, however it’s up to Stephanie as to whether the she’ll provide a sample from little Caben-Albi.
Philip Schofield, host of This Morning has said, “Stephanie Davis maintains that he’s the father to her newborn son. Can Jeremy McConnell get the proof he needs, and is he ready to be a dad?”
A representative for AlphaBio labs, who will look after the testing, told The Mirror, “We are happy to provide our services to hopefully reunite Caben and his father – and if Steph foes agree to the test, we can turn the results around in 24 hours.”
It’s still unknown as to whether or not it will definitely go ahead, as Stephanie has previously been adamant that any testing which occurs, won’t be made public.
Speaking to OK! Magazine recently, the former Hollyoaks star said, “That [the DNA test] is in the process of being arranged, but any tests that happen will be dealt with privately.
“I’m a new mum and dealing with all that brings, so I will deal with everything in my own time and I won’t feel pressured.
“My priority is bringing up my son and giving him all the care and love he needs.”
