Ok, so Ed Sheeran has a lot of celebrity friends, including Example, Taylor Swift and even Beyonce- but who knew that the Shape Of You singer was pals with our very own Jedward?
The three musicians appeared on BBC Radio 1 together yesterday and called themselves Jed Sheeran! It turns out that they’ve been pals for a number of years now, and have even worked on some music together.
While on air Ed revealed that he was the one to give the twins their first ever drink, and once turned down an evening with Sir Paul McCartney for a wild night with the Lucan lads.
“This is going to be a bad name drop but I once turned down a party with Paul McCartney to party with Jedward. That’s a fact.
“I did a Beatles tribute thing and I gave Jedward their first Jager bomb! Forced it down them and said it was a long slippery road from here,” he said.
Despite always remembering their unique first experience with alcohol, John and Edward haven’t touched the stuff since.
“Our first drink we ever had was with Ed, it was at the Grammy party, and we haven’t drank ever since,” they said.
They’re the three best friends that anyone could have!
